I found myself rolling my eyes so much throughout the entire novels, especially the last 2 novels.
Anyways, listening to how they had spark in each other and fell hard so fast is quite unrealistic. Book 3: Someone as persistent and bossy and domineering like David is actually quite creepy and too pushy. Her character in book 2 was so frustrating that I wanted to stop listening but couldn’t because I already spent my credit on this trilogy and I can’t return it. It took her so annoyingly towards the end of the novel to accept her feelings. Then even when she told Bill the truth, she knows she’s in denial but won’t let go of Bill because she doesn’t want to be a divorcee. She knows she wants David, yet she keeps Bill in the dark instead of divorcing him. She is so selfish in how she makes her decisions for everyone and unable to make up her mind. Book 2: I found that Olivia’s character is so selfish and stubborn that I couldn’t stand it and wanted to strangle her. I only continue to listen to it because it was a different type of storyline except for the tall, handsome, sexy and rich guy protagonist.
I know people change and love change, I don’t have that experience but it hurts everyone involved. If Olivia couldn’t commit, she shouldn’t have married. Therefore, this storyline was something I stray away from but decided to try.
